These sites are all jam packed with photos, but you can always search a keyword to narrow down the results. This also makes it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. Personally, I don’t like using stock photos in my blog posts. Using your own images really showcases your personal style to your readers, and also brands. However, I have used them in the past to promote posts on social media. It gives them a more professional edge, especially if you use a good eye-catching image.

Regaining Confidence with Just Smile London | ad

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been incredibly self conscious about my smile. It was wonky, awkward, I had teeth that stuck out a little more to the side than I would’ve liked… You name it, I had a problem with everything. As […]

What I Learnt From Going Makeup Free

What I Learnt From Going Makeup Free

Alicia Keys caused a stir in the online community last year when she started to go makeup free, stating it made her feel empowered and less pressured to look a certain way. Since then, the idea has always played on my mind. I’m not someone […]

The Soap & Glory Collective

The Soap & Glory Collective

Soap & Glory have been a big brand favourite of mine for so many years, they just tick all of the boxes for me. The packaging is great, and you get really good value for your money. Not only that, but the formula is absolute perfection pretty much across the board!

Due to the size of my (still growing) collection, I thought I’d talk you through what I have – highlighting my favourites along the way.

Soap & Glory body products

Soap & Glory moisturising products

Soap & glory face products

The Sugar Crush body wash and Smoothie Star body milk are my most loved products. I love the citrus scent of the Sugar Crush range, although I’ve noticed several people don’t like it as much. The scent reminds me of holidays – I always jet off with a bottle of sugar crush body mist! Admittedly, I didn’t like the Smoothie Star body milk at first. I felt it had a sickly scent, with strong hints of honey. This is something I got used to as I continued to use it and am now quite fond of. The formula is lightweight and doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the skin.

Although I’m not perfect, I do try and be as environmentally friendly as possible. I do my best to recycle everything that I can in the hopes of helping the planet. That’s why I was a little skeptical about these next two products. The Scrub of Your Life body scrub and the Vitamin C face wash both contain exfoliating beads. My initial thought was that they were microbeads, which are incredibly damaging to the environment. As it turns out, I wasn’t the only one with concerns about this! Soap & Glory released a statement saying that their products were reformulated back in 2014 to rid themselves of microbeads. The exfoliating beads used in their products are now made from jojoba wax – an environmentally friendly alternative.

Soap & Glory products take up 80% of my shelf space at home – I use them everyday!

Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em is my top secret to getting super soft skin. I use this as a full body exfoliator every other day in the shower and follow up with the Righteous Butter once towel dried. I alternate using my Righteous Butter with Smoothie Star depending on how my skin is feeling. Righteous Butter has a heavier formula, which works really well for drier skin.

One of my most loved products is Heel Genius, I usually apply it and allow it to absorb overnight. It has a slight peppermint fragrance to it, leaving my feet feeling lovely and soft. I don’t like how hand creams feel, which is why I haven’t used Hand Food as much. When I do use it, it’s usually during the colder months and I use it very sparingly.

While I don’t own a lot of cosmetic products from Soap & Glory, I do love the ones I’ve tried so far! I received the Eyes Box set a long time ago for Christmas; it contains six eyeshadow pans, a kohl liner, and mascara. The eyeshadows are pigmented and easily blendable, which is especially helpful when trying to go for a dramatic smokey look. I use the more taupe shades for everyday looks mostly as I love natural makeup looks.

I don’t wear makeup as much as I used to, but I use the Thick & Fast mascara every single day.

If you follow me on social media, you’ll already know just how much I love this next product. I’ve featured this on Instagram so many times because I absolutely adore it! Obviously, I’m talking about the Thick & Fast high definition collagen coat mascara! This is the first mascara I’ve used that doesn’t dry my eyes out by the end of the day. It’s incredibly volumising and lasts all day without fail.

The Speed Plump moisture marvel is the perfect lightweight moisturiser for dried out skin. I use it more in the warmer months as my skin gets significantly drier in the winter. This particular moisturiser has a really nice watermelon scent and absorbs instantly into the skin. This definitely leaves my skin feeling refreshed and dewy, but I can’t personally say much for the plumping qualities. The idea is that it smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, though I didn’t personally see much of that.

Soap & Glory have been one of my favourite brands for a long time and I can see myself continuing using their products for the foreseeable future. They’re one of the biggest leading beauty brands in the UK who are cruelty free and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
